Cool is rhythm, blues, and jazz-borne

cool glides out, silk notes from a horn

heat will rise when it needs space

heat will come down but cannot erase

the knee bent heavy on the neck-bone

the rising of anger, the centuries to atone.

My iPhone is my primary poetry notebook, and I hope my use of technology regarding this ancient art form remains fruitful. In June of 2019, I published a full-length collection entitled Salient Points and Sharp Angles (CW Books), which is available through Amazon.

Wow, this is phenomenal! What a beautiful and powerful expression for such heinous acts.
