It shifted slowly,

obstructing each ray,

that had given us light,

as the shadows crept across the muddy earth,

and we had fallen into a darkened abyss,

orchids began to wilt,

twisting in agony,

writhed and,

the grass dug into the barren earth,

leaving all in a shadowy world,

and a flickering ring formed,

before slowly fading,

and the frolicking light stroked the land,

as the moon gently passed and,

nature resurfaced.
